Voice telephony (and video) across the world has undergone massive change in the last few years particularly as a result of VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) and VPN (Virtual Private Network). These have offered most countries (where VOIP services are not blocked) the opportunity to reduce costs, to provide greater security (via encryption) and to communicate from anywhere in the world.

We, Connectivity and Communications RSA (Pty) Ltd. have embraced both technologies.

VOIP involves converting analogue voice communication to digital signals / data stream using an internet connection/adaptor and a specialized/smartphone. VPN encrypts data, encapsulates the IP packets, and uses a bespoke ‘tunnel’ to ensure the data is delivered securely, privately, and anonymously. Then it decodes the signal back to analogue at the exit point.

By combining the two technologies Connectivity and Communications RSA (Pty) Ltd. is able to provide enhanced security, protection against data retention, and elimination of throttling. We can offer our customers much better deals but, most important of all, with our particular VPN, we can ensure there is no anti-logging; total device compatibility; a privacy friendly jurisdiction; server distribution over a vast network; fast connection speed; strong encryption; unlimited bandwidth; and a responsive customer service.
